Who we are

Georgetown | Vosh, 18515 Detroit Avenue, runs events and sells tickets and related items through our ticket shop. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “our,” it means Georgetown | Vosh. We decide how and why your personal information is used for those purposes.

You can look around the ticket shop without giving us your name or contact details. Buying a ticket, signing someone else up, emailing us, or calling us means we will collect the information described below.

Information you give us

When you buy a ticket or a related product or service, we collect what we need to complete the order. That usually includes your name, email address, billing or mailing address, and payment details. Payment card numbers are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.

If you register someone else for an event, we collect the name and contact details you enter for that person. Only provide someone else’s information if you have told them you are doing so and, where needed, they have agreed.

Information you send us must be accurate. If we believe an order involves fraud, we may keep a record of that.

If you email, write, or call us, we keep a record of the message and our reply.

Information collected automatically

When you use the ticket shop, we and our service providers collect basic technical information, such as:

- Device and browser type, operating system, and language or time-zone settings
- A device or browser identifier
- Pages viewed, links clicked, and general browsing patterns on the shop
- Approximate location derived from your IP address

We use this to run the shop, remember preferences, fix problems, and understand how the shop is used. Some of this is collected with cookies, described below.

We also use advertising and analytics partners. They may collect device, activity, and approximate location data through cookies and similar tools so they can measure visits and show ads that are more relevant. You can limit this through your browser settings and the opt-out choices described in the Cookies section.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

- Process and deliver ticket orders and related purchases
- Send order confirmations, event updates, entry details, and changes to time, venue, or lineup
- Answer questions and handle complaints or refund requests
- Prevent fraud and keep the shop secure
- Meet tax, accounting, and other legal record-keeping duties
- Send marketing about upcoming events, if you have not opted out

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for unrelated purposes without telling you.

Marketing

Marketing may include emails about upcoming events, newsletters, or short surveys. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Opt-outs are usually processed within a few business days. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about an order you have already placed, such as a confirmation or a venue change.

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run events and the ticket shop:

- Payment processors, to take payment
- Ticketing, email, and IT providers who host the shop or send messages for us
- Accountants, auditors, and lawyers, when needed for finance or legal advice
- Authorities, if we are required to by law, or if we need to protect our rights, our staff, or other people

These providers may use the information only to perform services for us.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a site stores on your browser so it can recognize that browser on a later visit. Cookies do not by themselves tell us your name.

We use cookies to keep the shop working, remember settings, and understand traffic. We use Google Analytics to see things like how many people visit, which pages they open, and how long they stay. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can set your browser to block or delete them. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the shop from working, including checkout. You can also opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the shop and encrypted payment processing. If you create a password, keep it confidential.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above:

- Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax, accounting, and dispute rules require, typically several years
- Event communications and customer-service messages are kept long enough to handle follow-up questions about that event, then deleted or archived
- Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe, or until we stop sending that type of email
- Technical logs are kept for a shorter period, unless we need them to investigate abuse or a security issue

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the ticket shop after an update means you accept the revised policy.
